A delegation of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation headed by Minister Mikhail Murashko arrived in the republic. This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan.

During the visit of experts, high-level meetings are planned, as well as visits to leading medical institutions in the country. In addition, in preparation for the opening of the branch of the Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University, Russian specialists will inspect Chilanzar Medical Center.

Following the meeting, it is planned to sign an agreement between the Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University and the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan.

The visit of Russian experts is planned as part of the implementation of previously reached agreements on topical areas of healthcare. In particular, during the official visit of the Minister of Health of Uzbekistan Abdukhakim Khadjibayev to Russia in March of this year, an agreement on cooperation was signed between the parties.

Thus, the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Surgery named after Academician V. V. Kolesnikov was established. Vakhidova and the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center for Nephrology and Kidney Transplantation have already started training at the National Medical Research Center for Transplantology and Artificial Organs named after Academician V. I. Shumakov of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.
