Mass vaccination of the population continues in Uzbekistan.

In the first two weeks, 216,087 people have already been vaccinated in the republic, the Ministry of Health reported. Just yesterday, 67,445 citizens were injected with the vaccine.

The record was set by the Ferghana region — more than 18 thousand people were vaccinated there on Monday. Thus, the region became the leader in the number of vaccinated citizens (18,363).

Andijan region is next in the ranking — 11,667 residents decided to get vaccinated there yesterday. In total, 27,786 people were vaccinated in the region.

The third place was taken by Namangan region with 25,327 vaccinated residents (8,397 citizens were vaccinated yesterday).

Recall that now Uzbek citizens are offered two vaccines: the European AstraZeneca and the Chinese-Uzbek ZF-UZ-VAC2001. The delivery of the Russian Sputnik V is also expected.
